SORH Proficiencies

State Office of Rural Health Proficiencies and Self-Assessment

The SORH Proficiencies are a member-driven set of competencies and proficiencies which will help build the capacity of all 50 SORH and guide the educational strategy of NOSORH. The Proficiencies include a set of four target areas with their own rubrics, an instructional Proficiencies Guide that includes the rubrics and definitions, a self-assessment, and future Benchmarking Report.

NOSORH Website Spotlight: EMS Resources

The redesign of NOSORH’s website allows for all presentations, publications, webinars, and toolkits to be “tagged” when posted.  This creates the “Key Issues” word cloud on each page, which provides for easy searches with links to every resource.  The next time you visit, check out all the topics on the right hand side of the page.

Rural EMS is one of the most posted resources on the site.  We have over 23 resources pertaining to this topic alone.  You can find more information here.
