The National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services (NACRHHS) met last month in Washington, DC. The 21-member committee’s purpose is to advise the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Mary Sheridan (ID) serves on the committee and was in attendance along with Teryl Eisinger, NOSORH Executive Director. The committee listened to concerns and successes of national associations and other stakeholders, including health and human services providers and NOSORH.

“The papers and recommendations that this Committee provides are an excellent resource for SORH. Their work spans across health care to a wide variety of human services. It was an honor to represent the SORH,” said Eisinger.
