Mark your calendars! The NOSORH Annual Meeting is October 28-29, 2014 in Omaha, Nebraska. The planning committee has drafted an interesting agenda centered around the meeting theme – The Changing Landscape. Meeting topics include population health and telehealth emergency care, among others. NOSORH invites interested sponsors and non-profit exhibitors to join State Offices of Rural Health (SORH) in Omaha. See NOSORH’s website for additional details. Sponsors are recognized during the annual meeting and during National Rural Health Day in November.
Two additional conference learning opportunities will be provided before and after the annual meeting. The RHC Committee is offering a Learning Session for SORH in advance of the Annual Meeting. If you want to learn more about working with RHCs, plan to join them on October 27th from 1-5 PM. The Joint Committee on Rural Emergency Care (JCREC) is offering a Learning Session on October 30th from 8 AM to noon – please join them to learn more about rural EMS.
New this year: Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, Community-Based Division grantees are invited to attend the NOSORH Annual Meeting. They will attend all sessions with SORH and then meet as a group on October 30th from 8 AM to noon. Registration materials will be available by the end of July.
