The NOSORH Treasurer position will be available this summer as Charles Owens (GA) plans his next phase of being a rural health advocate at as a Clinical Associate Professor at Georgia Southern University’s Jiann Ping-Hsu College of Public Health.
NOSORH President Mary Sheridan will appoint a new Treasurer to fill the remainder of Charles’ term, which expires December 2015. An election will be held at the September NOSORH annual meeting for filling the Treasurer slot for up to two three year terms. The Treasurer is a member of the NOSORH Executive Committee and works closely with the Executive Director to provide oversight of NOSORH’s fiduciary responsibilities.
