NOSORH Annual Meeting 2014

NOSORH invites SORHs, HIT/Workforce Grantees, Network Development Grantees, Delta Program Grantees, Sponsors and Exhibitors to join us at our annual meeting in Omaha, Nebraska on October 28-29, 2014.  NOSORH Annual Meeting: The Changing Landscape will feature a wide variety of sessions, including: telehealth, EMS, population health, and much more.  Please see the meeting agenda for details.

Participants are also invited to attend Learning Sessions before and after the Annual Meeting:

  • October 27th from 1-5 pm – Join us to learn more about providing technical assistance to Rural Health Clinics.
  • October 27th from 5:30 – 6:30 pm – Participants who are new to their positions or are attending the NOSORH Annual Meeting are invited to meet for a brief learning session.
  • October 30th from 8 am – noon – The Joint Committee on Rural Emergency Care will be meeting discuss EMS issues.  All are invited to attend.
  • October 30th from 8 am – 1:00 pm – FORHP HIT/Workforce Grantees, Network Development Grantees, Delta Program Grantees will meet with project officers and educational speakers during program specific learning sessions.

Participation Fees:

$300 – NOSORH Annual Meeting – State Office of Rural Health (SORH) staff, Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) staff, and FORHP HIT/Workforce, Network Development, and Delta Program Grantees

$350 – NOSORH Annual Meeting – other SORH partners

$45 – RHC Learning Session, JCREC Learning Session – State Office of Rural Health (SORH) staff, FORHP staff, and FORHP HIT/Workforce, Network Development, and Delta Program Grantees

$50 – RHC Learning Session, JCREC Learning Session - other SORH partners

$0 – New SORH Learning Session, FORHP – Community-Based Division HIT/Workforce, Network Development, Delta Program Grantees Learning Sessions

$75 – Virtual Conference – This option provides webinar access to select sessions of the meeting.  Sessions with the telephone symbol on the agenda will be broadcast via webinar.  This option is only available to SORH who have at least one staff member attending in person.

Lodging:

The NOSORH Annual Meeting: The Changing Landscape is being held at the Embassy Suites Omaha – Downtown/Old Market located in the heart of the historic district.  Discounted rooms are available to meeting participants at the rate of $100 per night (single occupancy) until September 27, 2014.  There are two options for reserving a room at the Embassy Suites:
